No show this week (again)

We were unable to record a show this week due to many different reasons. I flew in Thursday evening and needed to unpack, Frankie has a leak in his basement conveniently located where his computer is, and to top it off, Greg has family business to take care of. So it looks like two weeks in a row with no us.

I will be posting video from my trip to Vegas, and will produce a couple Melvis podcasts for ya, hopefully that will stay your appetite.

Introducing: The Forum!

The Unemployment Line / Strange Brood forum: Where Worlds Collide

I am very excited to announce the release of the official forum! This special project is a combined effort of the Strange Brood and Unemployment Line podcasts. It's a great place to have discussions, comment on shows, suggest new material, and have a good time.

We've been having fun putting posts up this week and encourage all listeners to register and join in the fun. All forums are available for anyone to view. To post your own thoughts in the Unemployment Line section, however, you must register.

I am personally very excited about this and hope that our community of listeners makes use of the forum. Basically, it's purpose is to replace the "comment" feature with a more interactive tool and foster in-depth discussions.

NCAA Beat the Podcaster

March Madness is here! And what better way to test your wits than join the "Beat the Podcaster" round-robin tourney. The UL, in conjunction with the Strange Brood is challenging you to make better picks in the NCAA tournament than us.

Here's what you do:

1. go to espn.com if you need ot see a bracket and make your picks
   
2. email them to us at unemploymentline{at}gmail.com by 11:59 PM Wednesday night
3. I will set up a page for you to watch the madness and compare your picks to ours!
   

The winner gets bragging rights for one (1) full year, plus my voice on their home answering machine (sorry, no money involved). Remember, everyone involved is a bigger sports geek than me, so you have a good chance of not coming in last place!
